Griffin School of Music

Lesli E. Griffin was born in Atlanta, Georgia and has lived in Orlando, Florida since the age of 10.  She was fascinated by music from the age of 7, and by age 13 was playing piano for the Lakeview Jr. High Chorus, Windermere Rotary Club and the youth band at First Baptist Windermere.  By the age of 15 Lesli was the pianist for the First Baptist Church of Windermere, and the keyboardist for the West Orange High School Jazz Band.  She has played at many churches in the Orlando area over the past 30 years, including Powers Drive Baptist, Howell Branch Baptist, East Orlando Baptist, Oasis Community, and Killarney Baptist Church.  Lesli served as Worship Leader at Oasis Community Church for 6 years, where she planned the services and led the praise team rehearsals and the congregation in worship.

 

Lesli graduated from University of Central Florida in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Management and a Minor in Music.  She is currently playing at First Baptist Windermere, and runs Griffin School of Music, where she has taught piano for the past 18 years.
